I'm not gonna lie to you. I hate snow. I hate cold. I constantly try to talk my husband into moving to warm climates. Too bad he NEVER takes me up on it.
BUT I will admit, its pretty. Especially when it is untouched, pristine and bright. So I decided to hike it into the snow down by the pond behind our house and play with some of the macro filters I bought a long time ago and haven't bother to learn yet. Macro photography is super close up's. These filters attach to my normal lens and let me get up close and personal with my subject.
I was excited to test them out more and see what I could do with this. Too bad that didn't happen! Almost as soon as we got out there, Sophie, my little assistant was ready to go in. I got about 5 minutes if that.
Oh well, maybe I will try again this week. Here are a few i did manage to snap.
